The Starla Experience
Last week I visited Starla on South William Street for the first time. The concept of the boutique is both online and offline, meaning you can browse through their website and have your desired dresses delivered to your doorstep the next day, or go directly to the gorgeous boutique in Dublin. But, it gets even better! Starla also offers dress hire, so for those pieces that are a little over budget or that you think you will most likely only get one use of (think statement dresses like ball gowns and debs dresses!), you can enjoy your dream dress for a fraction of the price.
As soon as I arrived to the store I was met by Johanna who was unbelievably helpful. I loved every dress that I tried on, which you would have seen if you have me on Snapchat (ashymcdo). It was so hard to make a decision but in the end, I chose a stunning Scala design, completely covered in beads and sequins in nude undertones. It’s safe to say I felt like a princess wearing it!
Parting with this number was definitely difficult, but it’s amazing to know that it won’t go to waste sitting in a wardrobe for years and that it will be available for more girls to have their special night in a very special dress.
My first ever experience with dress hire was for my debs, and I’m so happy that I did it! Starla now has so many gorgeous models instore and online at the moment, for both hiring and purchasing.
Although you won’t find this dress on the website yet, it is available and you can also see it over on Starla’s Instagram.
I hope you enjoyed the read,
